February Reads
(I’m a bit late) but these are my february reads and what I rated them (I’m going off of the ratings I left on good reads since I’ve forgotten most of what happened 😂)
Howls moving castle: 5/5 ⭐️ I kinda read this while also simultaneously watching the movie for my first time and both are great on their own. However, the movie producers changed so much from the book that I was upset while watching it. The book is great though 😊
Does it hurt?: 4/5 ⭐️ This was my first official DARK romance and I must say, I ate this UP 😂. Have yall ever heard of autassassinophilia???? Becausee 🤭 this book does a nice little dive into it 😂. I also liked that there was more plot to it than just romance. There’s a bit of mystery in it as well since they get trapped with a creepy old guy who doesn’t let them leave their room at night for some odd reason 🌚.
Iron flame: 5/5 ⭐️ duhh . Ikykyk 🤷🏽♀️ and if you don’t .. dragons & I’d burn the world for you . What more description do you need? P.s I’d so put tairn (one of the dragons) on my hear me out list 😮💨
The nightnare before kissmas: 5/5 ⭐️ I ADORED this book! It’s a Male x Male romance where all of the holidays has princes/princesses and the two rival holiday’s the prince of Christmas and the prince of halloween are supposed to “win” the heart of the easter princess except neither of them want her, they want each other 😮💨
Death of the author: 5/5 ⭐️ I’m not going to lie after the first 1.5hrs of audio listening I was so lost and had to backtrack a whole hour 😂 it’s definitely one of those books that needs your undivided attention. Half of the book is about a book about robots (yes a book within a book) and the other half is about the author who wrote it. She happens to be nigerian, handicapped, a smoker, not into commitments, thrusted into fame and the family’s biggest disappointment so it tackles a lot lol but nonetheless still an amazing read
Lightlark: 5/5 ⭐️ I gave this book a 5/5 because it had so many twists that I just did not see coming 😭 and I loved them all. Essentially it’s a deadly game that 6 cursed rulers play every 100 years in a chance to break their people’s curse. And for the curses to be broken, one of the rulers has to die first. #teamgrim
The spellshop: 5/5 ⭐️ Loved loved loved ! It’s cute, cozy, involves spells, jam, romance, and a talking spider plant. Enough said! 💚
The fine print: 5/5 ⭐️ Think grumpy x sunshine, boss x employee, billionaire x lower class . And to make the book even better, at the end there’s two snippets of what their life is like in the future 😩😩 😩💗
The cruel prince: 6/5 ⭐️ I think this is “currently” my favorite series 🙂↔️ I love a good enemies to lovers 🥴 . Also, imagine if you’re a twin and a strange creature comes and kills both of your parents in front of you then takes you to his world to raise yall as his daughters???? I’d be livid

The spellshop is one of my favorites. I can’t wait for the enchanted greenhouse to come out as well!! And i remember watching howls moving castle all the time when i was little with my sister because she was in love with studio ghibli and she still is so is my mom.
