Lu Ming, a poet and traveler without memory, meets a mystery man by chance.
The man tells of a mysterious tavern with a giant tree sprawling golden leaves in the background and nine liquor grills that can regain lost memories.
To find out the truth of the past, Lu Ming set out to find the tavern.
But when he arrived, he found that the giant tree behind the tavern was not as covered with golden leaves as it had been heard, but was producing green light leaves as if spring.
There, he met Zhaowein, a quiet young woman who owned a tavern under the Ginkgo shadow and tasted the memory of a liquor that would gradually unseal the forgotten stories and poems.
But the more memories returned, the more hidden truths brought him closer to the fate that no one escaped...
