Hi friends! I’m sure most of you know about the impending ban of TikTok. I’ve made so many friends on here that I would love to stay connected with. I would love to follow you on every other social media platform that I have💕🫶
... Read moreHey friends! It’s a bit bittersweet to think about the potential TikTok ban, isn't it? Like many of you, I've built such wonderful connections and found incredible communities there, and the thought of losing touch is just… not an option! That's why I'm making sure we can all stay connected, no matter what happens with TikTok.
I know it can feel overwhelming to move platforms, but think of it as a new adventure! It’s a chance to explore different communities and ways of sharing. For me, connecting with you all on other apps means we can continue to share our passions. Whether it’s diving into a good book on Goodreads or Fable, exploring new travel destinations on Instagram or YouTube, or finding inspiration for cozy living and plus-size fashion on Lemon8 and Pinterest, there's a place for us.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is to diversify where you connect. Instead of putting all your eggs in one basket, having a presence on a few different platforms ensures that even if one app goes away, you still have a strong network. I’ve been building my communities across Instagram, where I share a lot of my daily life and travel adventures, and Lemon8, which has become a wonderful space for deeper dives into cozy living, nature, and, of course, all things books! I also love sharing my reading journey on Goodreads and Fable, and for quick, authentic moments, BeReal is a fun way to keep up. Don't forget YouTube for longer-form content and Pinterest for visual inspiration! And if you're looking for something new, Blue Sky is an interesting emerging platform.
So, how can we make this transition smooth? First, make sure you’re following your favorite creators – like me! – on their other platforms. Many of us are actively sharing our other handles, so keep an eye out for those announcements. Secondly, don't be afraid to try out new apps. You might discover a platform that perfectly fits a niche interest or a different way of consuming content that you absolutely love. For example, if you're a big reader, Goodreads and Fable are absolute musts. If you love visual storytelling and longer vlogs about travel or nature, YouTube might be your next go-to.
It’s not just about finding the same content; it's about finding new ways to engage and grow together. I'm genuinely excited about the possibility of deepening our friendships elsewhere. Let’s make intentional efforts to seek each other out. Drop a comment on my Instagram, subscribe to my YouTube, or say hello on Lemon8. Our connections are valuable, and I truly believe we can keep this amazing community thriving, no matter which app walls we're on. I can't wait to see you around!
