High Protein French Toast with 50g of Protein

Are you a sweet or savory breakfast person? I personally like both, but sometimes it’s hard finding a high protein option for sweet breakfasts. But luckily with some simple changes in the type of ingredients used we can have high protein French Toast.

Ingredients:

- 5 Slices Keto bread

- 1 egg

- 92g egg whites

- 1 cup fairlife milk

- 1 tsp Vanilla Bean paste( or vanilla bean extract)

- 1 tbs cinnamon

-1 tbs butter

Directions:

Step 1: Measure out 1 cup of fairlife milk into a container

Step 2: Add in 92g of egg Whites (PRO TIP USING EGGWHITES ADDS MORE PROTEIN)

Step 3: Add 1 egg

Step 4: Add 1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Step 5: Add Cinnamon

Step 6: Soak Bread Slices (PRO TIP BEFORE SOAKING, SLIGHTLY TOAST IN OVEN)

Step 7: Set pan on low and Butter pan

Step 8: Cook both sides until golden brown (DO NOT WAIT TOO LONG)
