HUGE UPDATE!!!

Hi guys it’s been a while since my last update!!! I just had my 3rd market of the year, which did poorly (0 sales hahahaha) but that’s okay!! My items are now at a local shop that holds good and products made by local small businesses!!! 😭😭😭 I COULD CRYYYYY because I never anticipated something like this a year ago.

I’m working on a holiday drop but Canada Post is currently on strike right now and have halted operations :(((( it sucks because they’re like the most affordable courier especially for a teeny tiny small business like myself. Super worried about how I can even do this drop when the ending of this strike is unforeseen. the only other options are FedEx and UPS which is like $40 CAD standard ground shipping fml. So so so disappointed.

Anywho, i have so many new products and items im making, and so excited to share with y’all!!

I’ve decided to start my YouTube again. I’ll release a new video next weekend!!! See you there!!

As an artist and small business owner, navigating the challenges of a market can be tough. My recent experience at the market was disappointing, with zero sales. However, I’ve turned this setback into an opportunity by getting my items into a local consignment store that supports small businesses. It’s heartwarming to see my products displayed alongside other local creations, fostering a true community spirit. Keeping an eye on shipping logistics has been a significant focus as well, especially with Canada Post's strike causing delays. For many small businesses, shipping costs are critical; they can make or break profitability. Exploring alternative shipping methods like FedEx and UPS often comes with high fees that are less viable for smaller operations. Despite these challenges, I'm preparing for an upcoming holiday product drop, eager to showcase new creations. I’m also reviving my YouTube channel to share this journey and connect with like-minded individuals. Regular updates and new videos will be posted, providing insights into the process of building a small business. Your support means the world to me, and I can’t wait to share this adventure with you!
