Attempted break-in Part One
We live in a nice neighborhood! We do carry, and do have big dogs! It was 4th of July, I accidentally turned off our back yard camera that night due to the fireworks and forgot to turn them back on, also made the mistake of giving my dogs melatonin also due to fireworks (I will never do this again). This story gets very interesting, there’s a lot to it, a lot before this man tried to break in our house. Follow for part two I will explain more. #criminalminds #securitysystem #wedocarry #protectyourself #houseideas Additional Tips: security cameras, 🔫, big dogs, good solid doors and locks!
In today's world, home security is a top priority for many families. The attempted break-in reported in this story underscores the vulnerabilities that can occur even in nice neighborhoods. On holidays like the 4th of July, when fireworks induce stress for both pets and families, it is crucial to ensure that security systems remain operational. Pets like dogs provide an essential layer of security, but they also need special care during stressful events. It’s not uncommon to see families unintentionally compromise their home security by failing to check on their security cameras during celebrations. Understanding the importance of maintaining both physical protections—such as strong doors, locks, and security systems—and the emotional well-being of pets can make a significant difference. Additionally, this situation highlights the need for constant vigilance and the review of one's personal safety measures. Utilizing high-quality video surveillance can provide peace of mind. It's recommended to routinely check that these cameras are functioning correctly and to have a plan in place for when systems are inadvertently disabled. Following through with security best practices can prevent similar experiences; after all, knowing that your home is secured allows you to enjoy life’s moments without fear. Always keep a plan in mind to protect yourself and your loved ones during both ordinary days and special occasions.
