Neuroplasticity, or brain plasticity, is the brain’s lifelong ability to adapt, grow, & reorganize its neural pathways.
It occurs when neurons form new synaptic connections or strengthen & prune existing ones in response to learning, new experiences, environmental changes, or injury.
