#onthisday Throwback to 3 years ago. When I first started working out on social media 🥹 A reminder that we all have to start somewhere. When you show up, the world shows up for you. Now 3 years later I’ve grown my following to over 300,000 followers combined on each of my platforms. Don’t give up, keep trying. #workout #fyp
Starting a workout journey can be daunting, especially when sharing it on social media. I remember when I first posted my workouts, I wasn’t sure if anyone would notice or support me. But the key lesson I learned is simple: consistency matters more than perfection. Over the past three years, I focused on daily commitment to my fitness routine, even on days I didn’t feel like it. One effective strategy I found helpful is incorporating a variety of core exercises such as 90° toe taps, 6-inch crunches, scissors, and lower leg crunches. These moves target your abs from different angles, making your workout both dynamic and effective. For example, performing 25 reps in 2 sets for each exercise kept me engaged without overwhelming my body initially. Tracking progress visually and sharing it through social media kept me accountable and connected with others on similar journeys. Surprisingly, the community support was one of the biggest motivators. Every small improvement, whether in endurance or form, encouraged me to push harder. If you’re starting out, remember that non-aesthetic beginnings are natural and valuable. Not every workout has to look perfect or Instagram-ready. What matters is showing up and putting in the work. Over time, consistency builds confidence, improves strength, and attracts a like-minded community. Keep experimenting, stay patient, and don’t be afraid to celebrate small victories along the way. Your journey is uniquely yours, and sharing it authentically can inspire others while fueling your own growth.
