I love being a big sister. This cartwheel reminded me that when they say if you don’t use it you lose it is so true. Baby the way, my hands and legs are sore 🤣 loved every minute of it though. As a retired cheerleader, I will now be doing a cartwheel a day. I can’t give her advice and be rusty lol #siblings #sisters #family
Cartwheeling with my baby sister has brought back so many cherished memories from my cheerleading days. It's amazing how something as simple as a cartwheel can reignite that sense of fun and physical activity. If you're anyone like me who’s been out of practice, you’ll quickly notice that your muscles might protest a bit at first—but that only makes the experience even more rewarding. Engaging in activities like these not only strengthens our bond with siblings but also keeps us physically active and mentally refreshed. One of the greatest joys of these moments is the setting: our parents' land. It’s a space filled with comfort, nostalgia, and the perfect backdrop for creating lasting memories. It reminded me how important it is to take time out of our busy lives to relish these simple yet meaningful interactions. For anyone looking to rekindle a hobby or share quality time with family, I highly recommend trying out something playful like cartwheeling or other light exercise together. It cultivates laughter, encourages a bit of healthy competition, and most importantly, helps you reconnect in a natural and joyful way. After all, as the saying goes, 'if you don’t use it, you lose it.' Taking that to heart, I plan to do a cartwheel daily—both as a nod to my cheerleading past and to keep that spirit alive for my sister and me.
