Whether it’s a small corner at home or a spot at your local gym, knowing where you’ll exercise helps establish a strong routine. If you’re on a budget, don’t worry! You don’t need an expensive gym membership to get moving. Stores like Five Below offer affordable workout essentials such as different sized weights, mats, jump ropes, and water bottles—all of which can support a great home workout. Utilizing what you already have or investing in low-cost equipment can keep you motivated without breaking the bank. Another key tip is to listen to your body and adjust your workout duration accordingly. Some days you might feel energized and can push through an hour-long session, while other times, a focused 20-minute workout can be just as effective. The important thing is consistency, not duration. Trying various workout lengths helped me discover what fits best with my schedule and energy levels. Lastly, balance intensity with rest. It's tempting to go all out, but overdoing it can lead to burnout or injury. On lighter days, focusing on form and moderate movement maintains momentum without strain. By mixing workout intensity and recognizing your limits, you’ll build a sustainable habit that supports long-term fitness and wellbeing.
