When I got on this platform, I had no idea what I was doing. I just wanted to be a part of a platform that was low maintenance and didn’t have a lot of “pressure to perform”. I love blogging and sharing things that I love and enjoy and this is the perfect place.
How I got here:
Consistency- I’ve posted every single day since I’ve joined! I did the 21 day challenge the day that I joined and continued when it was over, and just started again. I’ve always loved blogging so this wasn’t super hard. I set a reminder on my phone that pops up every day and it says “🍋8”.
Original Posts— No screenshots; except 3. Two of those posts didn’t do too well so that was all I needed to know! The content I post is original and all photos are taken by me. But I’m gonna be trying this again. I will say, all of the originals got more engagement.
Catchy Headlines— At least I think they are. I try to make sure I draw the attention of my audience. I really want people to see what’s out there and get some different ideas.
High Engagement— I try to interact with every single comment that I get on my posts. I also comment on other peoples posts… A LOT! I always ask for suggestions and I try to offer mine as well.
Authenticity— This is key! I’m genuinely me and I post what I like! I never go looking for what’s trending or what people are posting that’s “popular”. I truly just do me! I don’t try to please a certain crowd, because those who like what I post will naturally come.
Let me say, it’s not about the followers. I truly want to grow my platform and share some amazing things with some amazing people! I’m really just getting my feet wet and posting things that I enjoy, I have tried and want to try. In the future, I want to post more and give you guys some amazing content.
