y'all i'm so excited for this challenge because i LOVE talking about all things dating/relationships/love, etc- therefore prepare for some spam🫶🏼

i've been through the ebbs and flow of modern day dating and have mentored many on this topic.

to start us off, here are some green flags to look for in your partner, whether it be romantic or platonic!

❇️ expresses appreciation of your interests. your partner doesn't have to carry the same enthusiasm about a hobby or interest, but they should never make you feel less than because of it. for example, my hubby LOVES comic cons. i'm not a huge fan, but i love seeing him happy- so i will support him & even go with him so that he feels loved.

❇️understand love languages. how we give love and receive love are completely different. for better communication & feeling heard/respected, the both of you should understand your love languages to have your needs met.

❇️prioritize mental connection over physical. while physical connection is great, it is fleeting. if you're looking for something serious, you have to understand that bodies change, people get sick and so forth. mental connection keeps physical attraction alive, not vice versa.

❇️takes accountability. having self awareness is so attractive. you want to be with someone who is able to reflect and see their role within a situation.
