Why your skin still looks dull 👀
Same "dull" — two opposite causes. Slide 3 tells you which one is yours. Save it, then find the why before you buy anything. 🤎
From my own experience struggling with dull skin, what really helped me was understanding that dullness can stem from two very different issues: buildup and dehydration. Initially, I thought adding more products would fix the problem, but it actually made my skin feel worse. The buildup of dead skin cells creates a rough texture that causes makeup to catch and the skin surface to look flat; gentle exfoliation 2-3 times a week eventually smoothed my skin without damaging the barrier. On the other hand, if your skin feels tight and fine lines appear, it likely means dehydration: your skin isn’t holding enough moisture. I switched to hydrating products rich in humectants like hyaluronic acid, focusing on nourishing my skin rather than stripping it. Performing a simple 5-second test—pressing skin to see if it bounces back—helped me confirm hydration issues. Also, avoiding over-exfoliation was key; exfoliating daily can damage your skin barrier and worsen dullness. Finding the exact reason your skin is dull before purchasing anything is essential as it prevents wasting money on ineffective treatments. Keeping this balance between removing buildup and hydrating skin changed my routine completely, restoring a radiant and glowing complexion that I've maintained since. Remember, the real secret is not always about adding more but addressing what your skin is missing or what needs removing.
