I Got Laidoff from my Job

It’s crazy yesterday morning I couldn’t have fathomed that I would be furloughed but the BOEING strike has impacted not just its own company but every affiliate of them. I’m eligible for unemployment but Arizona unemployment is trash. This couldn’t have come at a worse time. I can only keep going and find something else, something better. I want to be upset, I want to be sad but I know God has me as always. In the meantime I get to breastfeed my baby instead of being attached to a pump. I can sleep in a few more hours. I have time to enjoy my hobbies. Life is so uncertain I can’t forget to live in the moment.

It’s essential to understand your eligibility for unemployment benefits, despite challenges like those faced in Arizona. This moment of uncertainty can also be a chance for personal growth; evaluate your passions and pursue hobbies you may have set aside. During this time, consider reaching out to support groups or platforms where others share similar experiences. Engaging with your community can provide valuable insights and encouragement. Reflect on the importance of mental health and well-being; taking time for self-care, including quality moments with family, can be incredibly rewarding. Finally, keep an open mind about new employment opportunities that align better with your skills and values. Remember, every setback can lead to an exciting new path.

I Recently Went Through a Layoff, But Let Me Tell You—My Faith Is Activated! When I got the news, the first verse that came to my heart was Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
