My new hair before, during, after

I had cancer last year, before losing my hair it was so unhealthy, flat lifeless and I could never get it to style the way I wanted, years of dying and heat ruined it. After treatment it grew back so lush and curly i love it and it is a nice little pick me up to see something I feel is so pretty after a year of fighting #healthyhair #lemon8challenge

... Read moreGoing through cancer treatment can have a significant emotional and physical impact, especially when it comes to changes in your appearance such as hair loss. I remember feeling so discouraged when my hair, which had already endured years of damage from dyeing and heat styling, became flat and lifeless. Those feelings of frustration and helplessness were hard to shake. However, as my treatment progressed and my hair started to grow back, I noticed a remarkable transformation. The new growth was thicker, healthier, and had natural curls that I hadn't seen in years. This journey not only improved my self-esteem but also reminded me how resilient our bodies are. For anyone currently going through similar experiences, it's important to remember that hair loss during cancer treatment is often temporary and that hair can grow back stronger and more vibrant over time. Maintaining a gentle hair care routine, avoiding harsh chemicals, and nourishing your scalp can make a big difference as you heal. Sharing my experience is a way to offer encouragement and hope. Seeing your hair grow back curly and full of life after such a challenging time can truly be a rewarding pick-me-up. If you’re coping with hair loss, remember that you’re not alone and that your hair regrowth story might just surprise and delight you, bringing beauty and confidence back into your life.
