items i used CONSTANTLY during my freshman year

shower caddy- i was skeptical at first purchasing a mesh one because of mold, but i used this one the entire year and it never got moldy, just let it dry out after the shower before storing it.

drawer organizers- this saved my desk. before i had these my drawers were a mess. these keep things so much tidier.

rolling cart- you can use these for anything. i’m a journaler (if that’s a word) so i keep my pens and other art supplies. some use it for makeup, hair accessories or even food

mini keurig- at my school the coffee isn’t that good so i would make my own a lot. i also like to have hot chocolate during the winter months. if your someone who likes hot drinks this is definitely and investment!

window fan- depending on the location of your school move in/ move out time can get hot. at my school it got up to 95°. keeping this day going all day long definitely helps if your living space doesn’t have AC

closet shoe organizers- these are amazing! they save so much room by not having shoes everywhere and they don’t take up that much space in your closet#Lemon8Box #lemon8boxchallenege #dormroomessentials #dormlife #dormchecklist #dormliving #collegelife #organization

... Read moreAs a freshman, staying organized and comfortable is key to a successful year. One essential item is a mesh shower caddy, which is mold-resistant and perfect for transporting toiletries. Drawer organizers are another vital investment, turning cluttered spaces into neat, functional areas. A rolling cart can serve multiple purposes, whether it's for art supplies or snacks. Additionally, a mini Keurig can be a game-changer for coffee lovers, providing hot beverages conveniently. Don't forget about a window fan, especially if your living arrangement lacks air conditioning during those hot days. Lastly, closet shoe organizers are not only practical for saving space but also keep shoes neatly stored away, making it easy to find what you need. Each of these items plays a role in creating a well-organized and enjoyable living space for any college student. Make informed choices to ensure you have a smooth transition into college life.
