Was searching for matcha places in the east and found Koffee Kollective✨
It's a really small shopfront and found it really cute that their menu is handwritten on a chalkboard! Think their menu changes from time to time based on the powder they have and they also sell traditional coffeeshop drinks like kopi o!
Ordered their YUN Matcha (Ceremonial Grade) - Strawberry Matcha and Matcha Latte! Wanted to try their matcha latte with RAN Matcha (Artisanal Grade) but they have ran out that day.
When I got the drinks, gotta say the green looks super on point but the strawberry looks more like syrup than a strawberry compote. However, after trying both drinks, the matcha wasnt too bitter and even after the ice melted, the matcha did not taste diluted. The strawbery matcha did taste abit syrupy but it kinda still works! If you are expecting strawberry pulp, then this is not it but the strawberry helped to add a tinge of sweetness to the matcha and gave it a good balance.
Plus point is that you can use your cdc vouchers here!!

... Read moreIf you're considering a visit to Koffee Kollective in Tanjong Pagar, here are some tips from my experience. The shop has a warm, intimate vibe that's perfect for a quiet coffee break away from the usual hustle. Their menu rotates depending on the matcha powder they have, which keeps the offerings fresh and exciting.
When I went, I tried the YUN Matcha (Ceremonial Grade) Strawberry Matcha and the regular Matcha Latte. While the strawberry element leaned more towards syrup than fresh compote, it still added a pleasant sweetness that complemented the natural earthiness of the matcha. The matcha’s vibrant green color reflected its quality, and impressively, its flavor remained consistent even as the ice melted.
Though I wanted to try their artisanal-grade matcha latte with RAN Matcha, it was sold out, which shows their popularity. I recommend going early if you have your heart set on a specific blend. Also, don’t overlook their traditional kopi o and other local coffee shop drinks—it's a great chance to experience authentic favorites alongside matcha.
Lastly, a practical tip: Koffee Kollective accepts CDC vouchers, making it both a tasty and economical choice. Whether you're a matcha connoisseur or just exploring new coffee spots in Singapore, Koffee Kollective offers a unique, quality experience that’s worth checking out.
