... Read moreReturning to fitness after giving birth is a unique and personal journey that requires patience and dedication. At around 3 months postpartum, many new moms start feeling more ready to reintroduce exercise into their routines. It's important to listen to your body and consult healthcare professionals to ensure that any workout plan is safe and tailored to your recovery stage. In my own experience, beginning with gentle exercises focusing on core strengthening and pelvic floor rehabilitation was crucial. Incorporating low-impact cardio, such as walking or light cycling, helped build endurance without overstraining my body. Joining a supportive group of workout moms online or in person made a huge difference, providing motivation and shared tips. Using tools like the Doona stroller made outdoor workouts more manageable, allowing me to keep my baby close while staying active. Remember to embrace the slow and steady progress, celebrating every small milestone. Postpartum fitness is about nurturing your body and mind, and maintaining this balance is key to long-term wellness and confidence as a mom.
