officially calling these the espresso years ☕️🧸 I actually love this age and would never call the 2s terrible, but ohhh my god do they ever stop moving?! #boymomlife #sahmomlife
Taking my toddler out to a coffee shop during these so-called "espresso years" is truly an adventure. Toddlers around this age seem to move nonstop, filled with curiosity and energy that can be both exhausting and delightful. Bringing my little one along means preparing for all kinds of surprises — from spilled milk to sudden bursts of excitement over a Hot Wheels car left behind and luckily found by a kind stranger. I’ve learned that patience is key. When waiting for drinks, it helps to have little distractions ready—like a favorite toy or snack—to keep them engaged and happy. Despite the chaos (and sometimes milk everywhere!), these moments are precious. They show just how much toddlers are exploring and learning about the world. Embracing this phase means accepting the mess and the unpredictability but also celebrating the joy of shared experiences. Whether it's the endless pressing of buttons on the steamer or cheers with a small cup of warm milk, these snapshots create lasting memories. For fellow boy moms and stay-at-home moms navigating the same journey, know that the "espresso years" are as energizing as they are momentous—and you’re never alone in the beautiful chaos.
