1. Tottori Sand Dunes
I don't think I'll ever go to a sand dune in my life!
I wanted to see the camel live and ride it ‼️
It was really hot, but I could go unexpectedly because I had a parasol 🙌 It was also good because I could not experience the heat easily ☺️

2. Museum of Sand
A museum right next to the sand dunes.
It is one of the purposes of this trip 🫶
Making sculptures with sand is too amazing. I wonder how they are made. Snow can harden, but sand seems to crumble.

3. Bakery: Bonos
Bread lovers 🫶 enjoy eating salt bread from various places 🥐
This place is very popular with locals 👀!
At the shop, I ate a slice of pizza and takoyaki bread, and had salt bread and garlic French for breakfast tomorrow!

4. Mizuki Shigeru Road
I went there as a tourist spot 🙌
There are things related to Kitaro all over the road. Lol It was fun to see it lol
It felt like a shopping street, and there were some souvenir shops, so I enjoyed it while staying out of the heat 🙌

5. Kaike Onsen: Fuyo Annex
I thought I would sweat in the sand dunes, so if I could go, I would go! I had time ♨️ the hot spring that I decided to go! I enjoyed the hot spring alone without anyone! Lol

6. Izakaya: Rubian
I wanted to eat local food. Seafood seems to be famous, so I went to a seafood restaurant ✨ There are counter seats, but it was very crowded and I went to the parlor 😵 The restaurant with the handwritten menu is a delicious restaurant. Selfish interpretation. Lol But it was really delicious ~ 😵‼️ I ate a fish I've never eaten 🐟

鳥取県は日本海に面した自然豊かな県で、訪れるとここでしか味わえない体験がたくさんあります。特に鳥取砂丘は国内最大級の砂丘として有名で、厚い日差しと風が織りなす独特の景観を楽しめます。砂丘の砂はさらさらで歩くと靴がえらいことになりますが、それも旅の面白さの一つです。私も初めて訪れた際はサンダルにしましたが、砂まみれになりつつラクダ乗りにも挑戦。ラクダのお兄さんに乗り方を教えてもらいながら、風景と一体になった気分が味わえました。 隣接する砂の美術館は、砂を用いた立体的な彫刻が展示されており、その緻密さに思わず見入ってしまいます。作品は季節やテーマごとに変わり、私が行った時は日本をモチーフにした展示で、歴史的人物や風景が砂で再現されていました。砂が崩れない仕組みや制作過程に興味津々になりながらじっくり見学したのを覚えています。 また、鳥取県はパン消費量が日本一ということで、地元で評判のパン屋ボノスでの食事も外せません。ガーリックフレンチや塩パンなど多彩なパンが並び、どれも風味豊かで地元愛を感じられます。私も朝食用に買い込みましたが、翌朝の幸せな時間になりました。 妖怪文化の聖地とも言える水木しげるロードも魅力的。幼少期に見た鬼太郎の世界観を思い出しつつ、道沿いに並ぶ妖怪オブジェやお土産屋さんを散策。かわいらしくて時にユーモラスな妖怪たちに癒されました。 汗をかいた後は皆生温泉でリフレッシュ。日帰り利用もできる芙蓉別館は静かで落ち着く佇まい。源泉かけ流しの湯に浸かると暑さや疲れがすっと消え、旅の疲れを癒す最高のスポットでした。 最後に訪れた留味庵は知る人ぞ知る海鮮の名店。手書きメニューには季節の魚がずらりと並び、初めて食べたシイラの淡白で旨みのある味わいが日本酒とよく合い、鳥取の食文化の奥深さに感動しました。 鳥取県は地方ながらも徒歩と車を使って効率よく回れる観光地がたくさんあります。特に夏の暑さをうまく楽しみながら、自然・アート・食・温泉が揃った満足度の高い旅でした。次回はさらに周辺の島根県と合わせて訪れたいと思います。
