Faith doesn’t deny reality—it invites God into it.


In my own journey of faith, I have often faced moments where hope seemed distant and the challenges before me insurmountable. Yet, the message in Mark 9:23—"Everything is possible for one who believes"—has been a constant source of comfort and strength. What strikes me the most is how faith doesn't mean ignoring reality or pretending problems don't exist. Instead, it means inviting God into our real-life situations, no matter how broken or difficult they may appear. It’s easy to feel stuck or overwhelmed when the 'mountain' won’t move right away or when prayers aren't answered as quickly as we wish. I’ve learned to bring my burdens, even those prayers I had almost stopped praying, directly to God. This act of surrender and trust changes the way I face impossible situations. It doesn’t remove the struggle immediately, but it reminds me that the power of God is greater than any obstacle I face. I also appreciate the reminder that faith isn’t about how big it is, but that it is placed in a big God. This has helped me stop doubting myself and instead focus on the limitless nature of God’s power. When I put my faith into action by continuing to believe, pray, and trust, I begin to see small changes and, eventually, breakthroughs that testify to God’s miracle-working presence.
