So full and satiated on the carnivore diet!
Who else is experiencing this? I wanna hear from you… Let’s tackle 2025 together. 💪 #carnivore #lifestyle #healthylifestyle
It's true, I'm experiencing incredible fullness and satisfaction on the carnivore diet, just like my initial post mentioned! But I know that feeling isn't universal right away, and a lot of people wonder, 'why am I so hungry on the carnivore diet?' I totally get it, because I had my moments of questioning early on too. When I first started, I sometimes felt like I could eat a whole cow and still crave more, despite eating what I thought was plenty. It was confusing because everyone talked about satiety! What I've learned through my own journey is that initial hunger often comes from a few key factors. Firstly, you might not be eating enough fat. Fat is incredibly satiating, and on a carnivore diet, it's your primary fuel source. I found that lean cuts, while delicious, just didn't keep me full for long. Switching to fattier cuts of beef, like ribeye or ground beef with a higher fat percentage (80/20 or even 70/30), made a huge difference. Don't be afraid of the fat! I also make sure I'm eating until I'm absolutely stuffed, not just 'not hungry anymore.' This isn't a diet about restriction; it's about listening to your body's true hunger signals and fueling it properly. Sometimes, what feels like hunger is actually dehydration or an electrolyte imbalance, especially in the early stages as your body adjusts. I make sure to liberally salt my food and sometimes add a pinch of Redmond Real Salt to my water. Patience is key during the adaptation phase; your body is learning to burn fat instead of carbs, and that takes a little time. Once you get past that initial hump, that 'CARNIVORE DIET SO FULL!' feeling becomes your new normal, and it's truly amazing. Beyond feeling amazing from a satiety perspective, another fantastic benefit I've personally noticed on this diet is the positive impact on my skin. Many people search for 'carnivore diet before and after skin' and I can totally relate to wanting to see those improvements! For years, I struggled with occasional breakouts, redness, and just generally dull skin. I tried countless products and diets, but nothing seemed to make a lasting difference. Since going carnivore, my skin has genuinely transformed. My complexion is clearer, the redness has significantly decreased, and I rarely get breakouts anymore. It feels smoother, softer, and has a healthy glow I haven't seen in years. I believe this is largely due to eliminating inflammatory foods like grains, sugar, and processed ingredients from my diet. My gut health has improved dramatically, and I think that's directly reflecting on my skin. The nutrient density of animal products – essential fatty acids, collagen, vitamins A, D, K2, and B vitamins – provides incredible building blocks for healthy skin from the inside out. I focus on incorporating a variety of animal products, including some organ meats (liver is a powerhouse for skin!), and ensuring I'm getting enough healthy fats. Staying well-hydrated is also crucial. It's truly been an unexpected but welcome 'skin glow-up' on this carnivore journey, and I'm excited to see even more positive changes as I continue. If you're looking for answers to why you're hungry, or hoping for better skin, stick with it and pay attention to these details – it truly makes a difference!
