Dorm Essentials you actually need

There is a bunch of different stuff that you actually need for your dorms. Here are a few items with specific characteristics that are way better.

🤎cubbyholes: these are absolutely amazing to store whatever you need. You don’t have a lot of storage and your dorm room so this is a great investment. Plus, they can fit pretty much anywhere in your dorm room.

🤎 Keurig: if you’re a big coffee drinker like I am this will save you a bunch of money so that way you are not spending over the top amount on coffee with your school card or your own personal fund. Obviously don’t get it if you don’t drink a lot of coffee.

🤎 a rolling laundry bag:

I have the handled one of this version. But it is so much better to lug the rolling car around than it is the bag. Especially if you live on the complete opposite end of the dorm from the laundry room.

🤎 storage cubby packs:

these are absolutely amazing if you need to have extra storage. They’re also great to transport your clothes to and from school. Keeps everything organized and helps with the limited space that you have.

🤎 vacuum:

you don’t need to have a fancy vacuum that costs $200. The one I got for my dorm room was 15 bucks from Walmart. But you absolutely need a vacuum, especially if you’re a girl. Your hair gets everywhere and it gets disgusting.

🤎 steamer or wrinkle spray:

you absolutely need something like this. Especially if your clothes are folded. The wrinkle release spray is really easy and simple to use and takes literally seconds. The steamer is great for something nicer and if you wanted to steam your clothes before you hang them up after the dryer. Because let’s be honest, those dryers are not doing that much.

🤎 hook expanders:

these are amazing and a great way to create room in your closet. There’s not a lot of space and you have very limited room. This basically doubles your space.

🤎 specifically with plugs or a way to charge your stuff:

There’s not a lot of plugs in fact my last storm room I only had two outlets. So having a lamp with extra cord plug-ins is great. Additionally if you get up early before your roommate, it’s a good way to make sure that you can get get ready with a little bit of light without disturbing your roommate. Also if you’re working late and your room is absolutely terrible like mine was it’s a great alternative.

🤎 bedside cubby:

This bedside cubby bag is great for holding anything. Especially if your bed is lofted it’s great for holding your phone or Book or something that you don’t want to fall. I regret not getting one.
