Coachella prep advice from a Palm Springs girl because bestie if you’re not prepping BEFORE the festival… you’re already behind 😭🌵 y’all about to be drinking, eating reckless, and baking in 100° hot windy weather all weekend 💀 save this before weekend 2

@Dr.Melaxin Official ionic acid turmeric peel pads

... Read moreAs someone who has attended multiple Coachella festivals, I can’t stress enough how important it is to start your preparation well before you step foot on the grounds. The desert heat often reaches 100°F or more, which can leave your skin burnt and dehydrated if you aren’t careful. One of my personal game-changers has been using ionic acid turmeric peel pads from @Dr.Melaxin before and during the festival weekend. These pads help calm sun-exposed skin and prevent that fried, tired look many festival-goers experience. Equally important is staying hydrated—not just during the event but starting days beforehand. Drinking plenty of water and replenishing electrolytes with juices helps keep your liver and kidneys functioning properly, so you can avoid the dreaded festival fatigue that hits those who party recklessly. I usually drink lots of coconut water and herbal teas to prep my body. Another tip is to eat light and nutritious meals prior to and during the festival. Avoid fried and heavy foods as they make you sluggish in the heat. Prepare your body like an athlete preparing for a marathon because that’s essentially what you’re doing. The better condition your body is in, the more confident and ready you’ll feel to deal with long days of music, dancing, and socializing. Lastly, protect your skin with sunscreen, sunglasses, and a wide-brimmed hat—these items are festival essentials! Applying sunscreen beforehand and reapplying regularly is a must to avoid sunburn. Also, don’t forget to pack some after-sun moisturizers or aloe vera gel to soothe your skin at night. Overall, the key is to respect your body and plan your preparation beforehand. By doing so, Weekend 2 of Coachella will be a fun and memorable time rather than a struggle against the harsh sun and dehydration.
