3-D printing a scanned tool
Last week I used the Einstar Vego 3D scanner to scan the SurfPrep 3"x4" Electric Ray sander. I exported an .OBJ 3D model file from the Einstar Starvision software and imported that into my Bambu Studio software so I could 3D print this on my P1S printer. For this model I used Bambu Labs Basic PLA in blue.
As you can see from the print, if you have a great quality scan, like I got with the Vega scanner, then you get a great quality print, like I did with my Bambu Labs P1S printer.
