Dust Right air filtration system
I just got this Dust Right full-size air filtration system from Rockler to try out. I am hanging this above my CNC since that is one of the biggest points of dust in my shop. The LED lights on the bottom of the unit will also help light up my CNC work surface. Looking forward to having cleaner air in the shop with this system since it will filter Air down to 1 micron.

From my experience working in a busy workshop, especially when using equipment like CNC machines, managing dust is critical not only for keeping the area clean but also for protecting respiratory health. Installing an effective air filtration system can make a significant difference. The Dust Right air filtration system is particularly helpful because it captures fine dust particles as small as 1 micron, which often linger in the air and are hard to remove with just a shop vacuum or standard dust collectors. The added benefit of LED lighting on the unit is a smart touch. Proper illumination is crucial when operating CNC machines to see intricate details and ensure precision. With the Dust Right system hanging above the CNC, I found that it cleared the air while brightening the work surface, enabling safer and more accurate work. One tip I would share is to position the air filtration unit strategically where dust concentration is highest — over or close to the dust-producing machines. This optimizes dust capture before particles spread throughout the shop. Also, regular maintenance of the filters ensures the unit continues performing at peak efficiency. Ultimately, integrating an air filtration system like Dust Right significantly improves the overall workshop environment, reducing airborne dust risks and enhancing comfort and productivity. For anyone serious about dust control and air quality, especially in woodworking or CNC shops, this kind of investment is well worth it.
