Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the ruler of Qatar, holds a funeral liturgy to pay tribute to the Sami.
Qatar's ruler Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended a funeral liturgy to pay tribute to those killed in Sunday's helicopter crash, which included several members of the Qatari military. The funeral liturgy was held at the Imam Abdul Wahab Mosque and the bodies of those killed were taken to be buried at Mesa'eemir Cemetery.
The Qatari ruler was accompanied by several senior officials, including His Majesty's Representative Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani.
Other senior officials participating include:
Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa Al Thani and Chairman of the Shura Council Hassan Al-Ghanim, Turkish Ambassador to Qatar Mustafa Gozu also attended the ceremony, along with Qatari Army members and the Qatar-Turkey Joint Force.
