Guide to: At Home Mani ❤️

Seems like everyone I see has their nails done and I always feel so jealous that my nails look like a little kids :(

getting gel, dip, or acrylics just ruins my nails and makes them sooo weak! so, this year Im trying my hardest to perfect my at home routine. (plus save money!)

Although at home manis don't last as long, you get to change the color more frequently :) channeling my inner #mobwife with this red! it is Essie 'not red-y for bed'

Essie, OPI, and China Glaze are my favorite brands while the Seche Vive line is the best for a quick dry base and top coat! My new found tip is to use cuticle oil at the end to keep your nails looking hydrated + only paint up to the cuticle. Leaving a small space makes them look more professional (according to TikTok!)

... Read moreAt-home manicures have gained popularity thanks to their affordability and flexibility. To achieve salon-quality results, always start with clean nails and use a nail file to shape them. It's essential to prepare your cuticles by pushing them back and applying cuticle oil to avoid dryness. When it comes to nail polish, Essie, OPI, and China Glaze are popular choices, but Seche Vive offers a trusted quick-dry formula that prevents smudging. Apply a base coat first to protect your nails, followed by your chosen color, and finish with a top coat for shine. Remember, leaving a small gap at the cuticle can make your nails appear more professional. Changing colors frequently allows you to express your style, whether it’s a classic red or a trendy pastel. Consider DIY nail art for a fun twist this Valentine's season or any occasion. Use hashtags like #manicure and #DIY on social media to join a community of at-home manicure enthusiasts!
