1st camp of the season
To begin this post, I want to see that there is no specific camp site where we were. As many of you may know, you can boondock or camp on national forest/BLM (bureau of land management) where this is no designated site. This may also be referred to as dry camping or dispersed camping. As the names suggest, there are no hookups for water or electricity as you are not in a designated site. That being said, you can camp in a ton of places in the Pike National Forest and plenty of other areas in Colorado. This trip was only about an hour drive away from our home in Colorado Springs.
You'll see some beautiful views and photos taken along this trip. Our favorite is to find a secluded area that has water nearby so that we can fish. In this case, we came to the area to camp with my husband's boss. We keep it super simple in the camper, because as you can see there is not a lot of area. Although there is some hidden storage, you can see a couple of them below my husband in the kitchen.
For our meals this trip we had a classic for dinner, hot dogs. For breakfast the next morning, we had a skillet mix with sausage.
