My favorite of the month is When a wolf loves the moon by Granger and Losing Sight by Tati Richardson. (Losing Sight)I love that the characters are older, the MMC is very regular and not 6’5 billionaire with 10 inch manhood. It was very realistic and the banter was top tier.
(When a wolf loves the moon) l love this black contemporary fantasy. Grangers writing is getting better and better each book. I love the Drew Collins series. I am attending her book even this summer.

... Read moreWow, what a month of reading February was! Besides diving deep into 'When a Wolf Loves the Moon' by Granger and getting totally swept away by 'Losing Sight' from Tati Richardson, my mind has also been buzzing with other amazing books that have popped up on my radar. It’s always exciting to discover new authors and titles, especially when they fit into those sweet spots of romance and fantasy that we all love, right?
If you enjoyed the realistic characters and witty banter in 'Losing Sight,' or the captivating world-building in 'When a Wolf Loves the Moon,' then you absolutely have to check out some other buzzworthy reads making waves. I've been seeing a lot of talk about Harmony West's 'If You Dare'. This book sounds like it's right up the alley of anyone who loves a good Young Adult or New Adult romance with plenty of emotional depth and perhaps a dash of forbidden love. Readers often praise Harmony West for creating protagonists you can genuinely root for, and 'If You Dare' seems to be no exception, promising a compelling story that will keep you turning pages late into the night. It's on my TBR (To Be Read) list for sure!
Another author that's been catching my eye is Julia Wolf, especially her book 'Not So Truly Yours'. For those of us who appreciate a contemporary romance that deals with real-life situations and builds undeniable chemistry between characters, Julia Wolf is definitely an author to explore. 'Not So Truly Yours' sounds like it offers that perfect blend of heartwarming moments, relatable struggles, and passionate encounters that make a romance novel truly unforgettable. It’s perfect for when you need a feel-good read with a bit of spice, echoing the charm of 'Losing Sight' but with a fresh twist.
Beyond these, I've also noticed other fantastic titles and authors gaining popularity. I recently saw an image showcasing various romance and fantasy novels, including 'The Love Lyric' and books from Alexandria House and Tessa Stone. These names frequently come up in discussions among romance and fantasy enthusiasts, suggesting they offer equally engaging stories. Alexandria House, for instance, is known for her compelling contemporary romances that often feature strong heroines and swoon-worthy heroes, much like the charming characters I adored in 'Losing Sight.' Tessa Stone often delivers unique fantasy worlds or intriguing paranormal elements, which could be a great follow-up for fans of 'When a Wolf Loves the Moon'.
And for those moments when you're craving something completely different, a book that truly makes you think and delves into profound themes, I've heard incredible things about Yaa Gyasi. While her work, like 'Homegoing' and 'Transcendent Kingdom,' ventures into literary fiction rather than romance or fantasy, her powerful storytelling and ability to craft deeply moving narratives are simply phenomenal. It’s a different kind of read, but sometimes those are exactly what we need to broaden our literary horizons.
So, whether you're looking for your next YA romance fix, a contemporary love story, or a deep dive into fantasy, there's a whole world of books waiting! What are some other books you’ve stumbled upon recently that you think I should add to my list, especially if they’re similar to 'If You Dare' or 'Not So Truly Yours'?
