The Lord of Muni defeated Kulimal, who wielded a mighty sword, and pursued after him with cruelty over many distances, with power and wisdom. May victory be acceptable to you.

Once upon a time in the urn region, there was a young man named Achineska.

His name means "The Unhuddled."

He was the son of the royal Brahmin at the court, a wise, good-looking, mannered and better student than all his pupils.

Growing up, his father sent him to study in Taksila, the most famous center of education of the time.

Nonka studied very well.

Teacher love

People admire

But the more prominent it is, the more jealous it is.

The other pupils began to frame him.

Some instigated the teacher's wife.

Some people make up different lies.

Until finally, the teacher became convinced.

Love becomes paranoia.

Mercy becomes anger.

But the master dared not kill Chengska himself.

So thought of a cruel ploy.

One day he called Ake.

"If you want to graduate and get the highest course, you must bring me something."

The bow is bowed.

"What does the teacher want?"

The teacher replied slowly.

"A thousand human fingers."

Chengsaka was stunned.

He thinks he's wrong.

But the statement is true.

Eventually, out of blind respect for the teacher, he started robbing people.

At first he killed in terror.

Later killed with habituation.

And finally kill without feeling anything else.

Every time he kills a person, he cuts off his fingers.

And as they collected more and more until they were rotten, they brought a hundred bushes around their necks.

So people call him.

Kulimal

Which means "who has the steering wheel of fingers."

The passage of time

Abandoned village

The streets are empty.

People dare not travel.

Even the soldier didn't dare go into the woods where he lived.

News of the Kulimal atrocities spread throughout the land.

Hundreds of lives have been lost.

But the fingertops are not yet a thousand.

There's only one finger left.

That day, the mother of Kulimal learned that the king was going to send soldiers to capture his son.

So she hurried into the woods to warn you.

Without knowing he was going to become the last victim.

At that time, the Buddha examined the spirit.

He saw that

If left, the Kulimals will kill their mother.

Which is terrible karma.

And will be in a long slump.

And he departed alone into the forest.

That morning, Kulimal stood on a cliff.

His eyes saw the Buddha walking from afar.

He was very glad.

"Well, this one will be the last."

He grabbed the sword and ran down from him.

With the speed of a skilled warrior.

But a strange thing happened.

No matter how fast he runs,

The Buddha, who walked peacefully, was the same distance away.

He accelerated the pace.

He still walks.

He runs with all his strength.

Sweat flows all over the body.

But couldn't get any closer.

Finally, he shouted wild.

"Stop!"

The Buddha replied calmly.

"We stopped, Kulimal."

The thief flinched.

"You're still walking. How can you say you stopped?"

The Buddha said,

"We have stopped encroaching animals.

But you haven't stopped. "

The words were like lightning struck in the middle of the heart.

For the first time in my life, no one was afraid of him.

No one curses him.

No one escaped him.

But instead, speak to him understandably.

Kulimal stood still.

The sword in the hand began to shake.

He reminisced about his past life.

From a good boy.

Become a demon that the whole land fears.

He started crying.

Tears that have never flowed for a long time shed.

Finally, he dropped his sword to the ground.

Kneel before the Buddha.

And ordained as a monk

After matriculation, many villagers were still angry.

Some threw stones.

Some damn

Some people assault.

Because they lost a loved one at his hands.

One day, Kulimal returned from alms with a broken head, bleeding and missing.

The Buddha only said that

"Be patient, Brahman.

The karma you deserve for a long time is yielding little in this life. "

Kulimal listened calmly.

And continue to practice

Until finally able to achieve arhats.

Become completely exhausted.

This is the incident mentioned by Chapter IV.

This victory is not a beast defeat like the previous chapter.

But it overcomes "the darkness in the human heart."

Thieves that the whole country cannot defeat.

The army couldn't catch it.

The law can't stop.

Instead, it was changed by only a few words of the Buddha.

So it's another great victory in the Mahaka Panong.

Because He did not destroy Kulimal.

But he helped him to become a good human again and eventually became a hero out of all passions.
