It's a chance to share things I'm experimenting with, new ideas for original characters (OCs), or just fun doodles that might not be "portfolio-ready" but still deserve to see the light of day. It helps me stay motivated and get feedback on concepts early on. Plus, it’s a great way to showcase the variety in my style and development over time. I love exploring character design, so you might see anything from a detailed character reference sheet for a new creature, perhaps a humanoid with intriguing features like glowing purple eyes and antennae, or even a design featuring a dramatic segmented tail and unique mixed animal traits. These sheets are so important for bringing OCs to life! Then there are the digital pieces. I enjoy creating stylized digital illustrations that really pop. Lately, I've been drawing a lot of cat-eared characters with big, fluffy tails, often in cool outfits like a dark dress adorned with a crescent moon and paired with thigh-high boots. Or sometimes I'll work on an anthropomorphic character with dark fur, striking horns, and even a quirky spiky halo. You might also spot some edgy fashion like a black crop top and fishnet stockings in my digital art. It’s all about playing with different aesthetics! And who doesn't love a good sketch? I often find myself doing quick pencil sketches on sticky notes – you know, those little bursts of inspiration! These quick drawings might feature a character with fluffy hair or a prominent furry collar, capturing an expression or a pose before it fades. They're raw, immediate, and a crucial part of my creative process. Sometimes, I even include brighter, more polished vibrant digital illustrations, like a fox-like character with flowing blonde wavy hair, piercing blue eyes, and a delicate blue gem pendant. These more complete pieces show where some of those initial ideas can lead. So, why should you care about art dumps?
