Personally, while I cherished these dreams and loved watching my father play hockey, life steered me onto a different path. The rise of VTubers, or virtual YouTubers, offered a new and exciting way to express creativity and connect with others in the digital world. Becoming a professional VTuber allowed me to embrace a persona—an anime girl—that could engage audiences through gaming, storytelling, and personal interactions. This transition from aspiring hockey legend to successful VTuber may seem unconventional, but it perfectly illustrates how childhood dreams evolve.
