Really grateful for tonight.

Got the opportunity to meet and talk to business owners building 6–7 figure businesses, and honestly the most interesting part wasn’t their revenue, marketing, or business models.

It was hearing why they started, what problems they were trying to solve, and the struggles they went through before things worked out.

Sometimes when you’re still at the beginning of your journey, you feel like everyone else is so far ahead.

But when you talk to enough people, you realise everyone started confused, lost, and unsure too.

They just started earlier, failed more times, and didn’t quit.

I met someone building a coaching business guiding young men, executives and business owners to solve problems at home first — mindset, relationships, personal life — because when life is stable, business progress becomes clearer.

I also met someone building AI automation for SMEs, an education platform and a freelance platform for local artists in Singapore, and we even talked about how I could support him with social media and content while he focuses on building software.

Met many other entrepreneurs building all kinds of things, and I even got the chance to let people try @NEKOJITA cookies and received a lot of valuable feedback as well.

Really inspiring conversations and very grateful for all the people I met tonight.

I still have a lot to learn, a lot to build, and a very long way to go.

But I think I’m slowly heading in the right direction.

Sometimes opportunities don’t come from applying for jobs.

They come from conversations, value exchange, and meeting the right people.

One conversation at a time.

... Read moreFrom my experience attending networking events with entrepreneurs, I've learned that the real stories behind successful 6-7 figure businesses are often shaped more by the founders' resilience and purpose than just their business strategies. Many start confused and face numerous failures before they find their footing, which reinforces that early struggles are part of the journey—not signs of defeat. One key takeaway is the importance of addressing personal stability to boost business success. For example, a coach I met focuses on helping men and business leaders improve their mindset and relationships at home first. This holistic approach resonates with me because I’ve seen how a stable personal life can clear mental clutter and enhance focus on professional goals. Additionally, I encountered innovators leveraging AI for small and medium enterprises, education, and creative freelance platforms. Collaborations where each person contributes their strengths—like content creation supporting software development—demonstrate how value exchanges build momentum and drive innovation. I also had the unique chance to share @NEKOJITA cookies while gathering feedback. This simple real-life interaction reinforced that networking isn’t just about formal pitches but genuine exchanges that spark ideas and connections. Overall, my journey taught me that opportunities rarely come from simply applying for jobs or marketing aggressively. Instead, they emerge organically through authentic conversations and mutual support. Patience, continuous learning, and embracing failure over time are vital. If you’re starting out, remember everyone begins uncertain—keep engaging, sharing, and growing one conversation at a time.

Grateful for Time, Health, and Moments That Matter
Just a simple video of my daughter playing on the swing… but this moment means so much more than it seems. Not long ago, she was down with a fever, low energy, tired eyes, and needing constant care. On top of that, she had exams coming up, which brought a whole different kind of stress. As a

I don't have any friends.
The term "friends" changed a lot during my different phases in life. In school, having friends were simply just not being alone during lunch or not having to eat by yourself during recess. It was something simple like being able to have someone pick you as their PE teammate or partner.
