✨🍋 THIS Product Grew My Lost Toenail Back!! 😩🙌🏾✨
If you’ve been dealing with brittle, weak toenails that seem to break easily, don’t worry—you’re not alone! I’ve been there too, like mine just randomly started looking crazy, so I went to the podiatrist and the medicine they gave me eventually made the nail come off! Here’s what’s worked for me to grow them out stronger than ever:
✨ 1. Keep Them Moisturized
Brittle nails are often a sign of dryness. Use a nail and cuticle oil daily to lock in moisture. Coconut oil or vitamin E oil works wonders too! I found the cuticle oils by Clean Beauty pictured in slide 3 at Five Below! I use them daily and even on my fingernails😊.
✨ 2. Strengthen with Biotin
Adding biotin-rich foods (like eggs, nuts, and leafy greens) or a biotin supplement can help your nails grow longer and stronger from the inside out. I take Biotin gummies daily and try to ensure I get ample sources in from my foods as well.
✨ 3. Trim + File Regularly
Keep your nails neatly trimmed to avoid snags, and gently file the edges to prevent further breakage. Use a glass nail file for a smoother finish. We have SEVERAL nail file kits around the home, so invest in some good durable ones that’ll last you a while.
✨ 4. Avoid Harsh Chemicals
Skip acetone-based nail polish removers and avoid gel polish for a while—they can dry out and weaken your nails even more. I haven’t got a pedicure in a long time due to wanting to focus on strengthening my nail beds. I use press-ons and they look just like a real set!
✨ 5. Wear Protective Shoes
Protect your toes from trauma (like stubbing or pressure) by wearing properly fitted shoes with enough room for your toes to breathe. My issues first started in college as I would stub my big toe and pinky toe EVERY DAMN DAY on the built-in cabinets we had under the beds 😭. I wear shoes with a little bit of wiggle room and moisturizing socks throughout the day.
✨ 6. Stay Consistent
Healthy nails take time to grow! Stick to your routine, and you’ll start seeing results in just a few weeks. Given it was Winter, this was the perfect time for a nail reset! Cold air = no one being able to look at my nasty nubs in sandals or other open toed shoes 😂. Consistency is key if you want to see sustainable change!

Brittle toenails can be a source of frustration, but with the right care and products, you can restore their health and strength. Keeping nails moisturized is essential; consider using natural oils like coconut or vitamin E, which are known for their hydrating properties. For internal support, biotin is a crucial vitamin that promotes nail growth; foods like eggs, nuts, and leafy greens provide this nutrient naturally. Additionally, make a habit of regularly trimming and filing your nails with a glass file to prevent snags and splits, ensuring the edges are smooth. Furthermore, avoiding harsh chemicals found in many nail products is vital—opt for gentle, natural alternatives to protect your nails from damage. Wearing well-fitted shoes is another key practice to prevent trauma to your toenails. Proper footwear that allows enough space for toes can significantly reduce the likelihood of injuries known to weaken nails. Consistency in these routines is essential for long-term results; healthy nails don't grow overnight. Adopting a comprehensive nail care regimen can lead to visible improvements over just a few weeks. Embrace these practices, and you'll be proud to show off your beautifully nourished toenails!
