My son went through countless blood transfusions during our NICU journey. At the start of this video, you can see his ileostomy bag. The 6 weeks and 2 days he had that ileostomy were by far the hardest days of our NICU stay. Yet even with blood transfusions and an ileostomy bag, he showed me what true strength looked like 🙏🏼
