Just the view from the Seabus…

Riding the Seabus in Vancouver is one of my favorite ways to unwind and take in the city from a fresh vantage point. One thing I’ve noticed is that the best time to ride is either early morning or late afternoon when the sunlight creates stunning reflections on the water. The journey itself only takes about 12 minutes, so it's a quick but highly rewarding escape from the busy city streets. A tip for first-timers is to grab a spot on the outdoor deck to fully immerse yourself in the surroundings. You can see the iconic North Shore Mountains and bustling waterfront activity up close. In the colder months, wrapping up warm makes the experience cozy and memorable. Besides the views, the Seabus is also a practical way to cross between downtown and the North Shore, especially if you want to explore areas like Lonsdale Quay Market or Grouse Mountain after your ride. Overall, the Seabus ride is a fun, inexpensive, and visually stunning way to experience Vancouver’s beautiful waterfront on any visit.
