📍Magazine St. New Orleans, LA

... Read moreOh, New Orleans! My heart just melts every time I think of this vibrant city. My recent trip, where I snapped that 'WEEKEND OOTD' in my favorite pink floral midi dress right in front of that famous bright pink door at 3318 Magazine St., reminded me why I can never get enough. Magazine Street isn't just a place for cute photo ops; it's a whole vibe! I absolutely adore strolling along, discovering unique boutiques and art galleries. It’s perfect for finding those one-of-a-kind pieces you won't see anywhere else, especially if you love a bit of vintage flair or local artisan crafts. The energy is just infectious, and there's always something new to catch your eye. Beyond the shopping, Magazine Street is a foodie paradise. You know I can't resist some delicious southern food! From cozy cafes perfect for brunch to incredible dinner spots, the culinary scene here is truly unmatched. I grabbed a refreshing red drink to beat the heat while I was out and about, and it was just what I needed. Seriously, if you're ever in NOLA, dedicate a good chunk of your day to exploring this area. And don't forget to look out for colorful doors and murals – they make the best backdrops for your own plus-size outfit ideas! Now, about my only complaints: the mosquitoes and hurricane season! While I joke that's the only thing that could make me leave, it's true you need to be prepared. Always pack some good insect repellent, especially if you plan on enjoying evenings outdoors. And for outfits, think light, breathable fabrics. My pink floral midi dress was perfect for the warm New Orleans weather, paired with comfy white sneakers for all the walking. It’s all about staying cool and comfortable while still looking fabulous. Don't be afraid to embrace bright colors and bold prints—New Orleans style is all about expressing yourself! Whether you're a first-timer or a seasoned visitor, New Orleans offers an experience unlike any other. It’s not just the French Quarter; venturing out to neighborhoods like the Garden District and exploring streets like Magazine St. gives you a deeper feel for the city's charm. Every corner holds a story, and every meal is an adventure. I hope my little 'WEEKEND OOTD' on Magazine Street inspires you to visit and create your own unforgettable memories. This city truly has a way of capturing your soul, and I can't wait to go back!
