I started a project pan at the beginning of the year and so far these are my February empties!!
Now the question is would I re-buy any of the items in this picture? I’m going to write how I felt each item was.
Bath & body Works stress relief
⭐️Overall rating: 10/10: smelled so good and had my skin super soft!!
Head and shoulders conditioner
⭐️Overall rating: 8/10: got rid of dandruff, but I wish they had other scents!
Dove hand soap
⭐️Overall rating: 7/10: the smell got boring after a while, even though it smells good! But I don’t think I would rebuy
Bath & body Works candle
⭐️Overall rating: 8/10: love the scent so much but I don’t like how fast they burn out :/ 50/50 on rebuying
foot masks from TJ Maxx
⭐️Overall rating: 9/10: they made my feet so soft and it smelled super good. I think I would re-buy these.
Colgate toothbrush
⭐️Overall rating: 9/10: it was super soft for my teeth and it didn’t hurt my gums I would absolutely rebuy.
Biolage shampoo + Conditioner
⭐️Overall rating: 7/10: I like the smell, but after the second use, it smelled kind of weird to me. I didn’t notice it did anything and it didn’t make my hair soft. i don’t think i would rebuy this specific one.
... Read moreStarting a project pan has been a game-changer for me in terms of evaluating what I truly like and what works best for my skin and hair needs. For example, products like the Bath & Body Works Stress Relief lotion not only smell incredible but also leave my skin feeling soft and refreshed, which explains why it got a perfect 10/10 from me. On the other hand, the Biolage shampoo and conditioner series didn’t quite meet my expectations despite the appealing scent at first. I found that the scent changed after a couple of uses, which put me off, and the formula didn’t deliver the softness I hoped for.
One of the more surprising hits was the foot masks from TJ Maxx—they made my feet noticeably softer and smelled great, which is why I’m definitely considering repurchasing them. It’s little finds like this that make project panning rewarding because it encourages me to try smaller, more affordable products alongside my tried-and-true favorites.
I also want to highlight the Colgate toothbrush, which got a high rating due to its soft bristles that don’t irritate my gums, something I’ve struggled with before in other toothbrushes. On the flip side, while the Bath & Body Works candle had a scent I adored, its fast burn rate made me hesitant about buying it again—a reminder that product longevity is just as important as fragrance for me.
Overall, this project pan approach has helped me become more intentional with my purchases, reducing waste and helping me focus on products that bring true value. It also makes me mindful of scent fatigue, which I realized was the main drawback with the Dove hand soap; although pleasant at first, the scent became boring over time, influencing my decision not to rebuy.
If you’re considering a project pan, my advice is to track your feelings about each product closely and be honest with yourself about whether each item delivers on your personal needs. Not every product will be a perfect match, but that’s part of the journey toward a more purposeful and satisfying beauty routine.
19 empties this month 🥰🥰
