私も国際恋愛から国際結婚を決めたとき、一番しんどかったのは手続きそのものより「ビザ目的？」「偽装結婚？」と周りに疑われる空気でした。本人たちは真剣でも、配偶者ビザが絡むと“そう見られやすい”のが現実。ここでは、私が実際に感じた「疑われポイント」と、見極め・対処で役立ったことをまとめます。 まず、ビザ目的の結婚“っぽく”見えやすい特徴としてよくあるのは、①交際期間が極端に短い、②相手の家族や生活背景をほとんど知らない、③共通言語がなく意思疎通が不安、④お金の話が先行する、⑤「早く籍を入れて」と急かされる、⑥同居の実態が説明できない…など。もちろん、当てはまったから即アウトではなく、事情があれば短期で結婚する人もいます。大事なのは「二人の生活の実態を自分たちの言葉で説明できるか」だと思います。 私の場合は、配偶者ビザの話が出た瞬間に相手を疑ってしまい、感情的にぶつかった時期がありました。そこで意識したのは、相手を“試す”よりも、結婚後の暮らしを具体的にすり合わせること。例えば、どこに住むか、家計はどう管理するか、仕事や学び（専門学校など）の目標、将来どの国で暮らす可能性があるか、親のこと、子どもの希望。ここが曖昧だと、周りからも自分自身も不安になります。 「偽装結婚にメリットがあるの？」と聞かれることもありますが、ニュースで見るようなケースは、短期的には在留資格を得られる可能性が“ある”一方で、発覚すれば双方に大きなリスクがあります。だからこそ、本気のカップルほど手続きが厳しくなった影響を受けてしまう。理不尽に感じても、ここは“疑われない形に整える”のが現実的でした。 具体的に私がやって良かったのは、交際から結婚までの流れを時系列でメモしておくこと（いつ会った、どこに行った、家族紹介、同居開始など）、写真やメッセージを整理すること、そして何より「二人で説明できるストーリー」を一致させることです。作り話ではなく、事実を丁寧に言語化する感じ。 最後に一番伝えたいのは、相手に尽くすことだけが愛じゃない、ということ。疑いが生まれたときほど、自分の芯（ここだけは譲れない境界線）を持つのが大切でした。急かされる・お金を求められる・話し合いを避けられるなど違和感が続くなら、一度立ち止まってOK。逆に、相手が必死で人生を良くしようとしていて、対話と行動が伴っているなら、周囲の声に振り回されすぎないでほしいです。
