Playing against a Skull Merchant like this makes you rethink your entire strategy. You really have to stay aware of your surroundings, constantly checking your drones and listening for the faint buzzing. My usual survivor instincts were completely thrown off because their stealth made predicting their movements almost impossible. One moment I'd be trying to heal a teammate, and the next, I'd hear that familiar drone sound getting closer, but couldn't pinpoint where mazercise was. It’s like they were using their power to become truly invisible until it was too late. I swear, the way they moved through the map, leveraging line of sight and their radar, was truly next level. Every time I thought I had a moment to breathe, they'd pop up, making me scream and drop my controller! If you ever find yourself up against a highly stealthy Skull Merchant, here are a few things I learned the hard way: Always, always be paranoid. Don't commit to generators for too long without glancing around. Try to break drones quickly if you can, but be mindful of their traps – getting injured while trying to disable a drone is a classic mistake. And if you hear the heartbeat but don’t see them, assume they’re closer than you think! Think about perks that help with information, like Kindred or Open Handed, to counter the lack of visual cues. Communication with your teammates is also super important; knowing where drones are and if someone has been hunted can save your life. It’s all about maintaining map awareness and trying to bait out their power without getting cornered. Don't be afraid to pre-run if you suspect they're coming. Honestly, this match with mazercise was incredibly frustrating but also exhilarating. It reminded me why I love Dead by Daylight – those heart-pounding moments where you're truly challenged and pushed to your limits.
