Making this post for my future wedding inspo….
When me and my boyfriend first starting dating, he took me to this gorgeous museum of habitats. There they had a habitat full of monarch, Limenitis arthemis, and Spicebush swallowtail butterflies (my favorite). They were the most beautiful butterflies, the way the black faded into the iridescent blue. He’s taken me back there every year around the time of our anniversary. So I am saving this post to have for my future wedding. Here is how I will tweak it…
• My butterflies will be black & blue (Spicebush swallowtails) 🦋
• I don’t want a white dress… I think it would be so gorgeous and different to find or have made a beautiful black full length ballgown with the iridescent blue creeping up the dress from the bottom. (Sort of like Blake Lively’s 2022 met gala look, but with these colors and a faster transition lol.) Or even a black dress for me and blue for the bridesmaids.
• I want the butterflies integrated elegantly… I don’t want the butterflies to be the main decor but instead an elegant touch.
