Five Things I Learned In The First Five Months ✨

2024 has been long and interesting to say the least. Here’s some photos of the first five months, along with lessons I learned to go along with them.

💙 January

It’s okay to be sad. The only way to get over something is to truly let yourself feel it all.

❤️ February

People can be genuinely nice. And if they’re not? Ditch them. There’s plenty of good people, why keep the bad ones around?

💚 March

The ocean is rejuvenating. The salty air heals anything from a brown heart to messy skin.

🧡 April

Take the time to take care of yourself. Whether it’s one hour a day, one day a week, or a couple days a month. Take. Care. Of. Yourself.

💛 May

Don’t use the chaos of life to hide bad feelings. Instead use the chaos to remind yourself of the things you’re thankful for. Even if the thing you’re thankful for is the opposite of chaos - peace and quiet.

... Read moreAs we move through the seasons, the first five months of the year often serve as a transformative period for personal growth. January emphasizes the importance of processing sadness, reminding us that acknowledging our feelings can lead to healing. In February, building connections with genuinely nice people is highlighted; surround yourself with those who elevate your spirit and discard negativity. March shifts our focus to nature's restorative power, showcasing how the ocean's rejuvenating properties can heal both body and mind. April encourages us to prioritize self-care, advocating for time dedicated solely to our well-being—an essential practice in today's busy world. Lastly, May teaches us to foster gratitude amidst chaos, promoting a mindset that finds thankfulness even in turbulent times. These reflections can resonate with anyone navigating life's ups and downs, highlighting the importance of compassion, self-care, and appreciation throughout the months.
