5 Things I Recommend When Walking 100KM in a Month
Now that I’ve hit my 100km goal (and had some well-earned rest!), I wanted to share a few tips that helped me along the way—and might help you if you’re setting a walking goal too:
1️⃣ Pace Yourself – I went hard the first couple of days and felt it in my back. Take your time, it’s not a race. Breathe deeply through your nose and enjoy the rhythm.
2️⃣ Enjoy Nature – Don’t forget to look around! The trees, the birds, the smell of lilacs (my fav!)—let it all ground you. 🌸
3️⃣ Change It Up – Walking the same path daily? Switch it up! Explore new trails, parks, or neighborhoods to keep it exciting.
4️⃣ Stay Hydrated – Water is your best friend. Don’t leave home without it! 💧
5️⃣ Fuel Up – You’re burning more than you think! Eat nutritious meals to support your energy and recovery. 🥗🍌
Set your goal, lace up your shoes, and go for it. You’ve got this! 🙌
