✨Book Review✨

SYNOPSIS

What was meant to be a week-long trip for business and pleasure turned into everything but for the members of a tech company called Snoop. Booking out of a luxurious ski chalet staffed with a chef and housekeeper, things take a turn for the worse after a day on the slopes when a treacherous avalanche traps the group and staff inside the chalet and they notice one of the group members never made it back from the slopes. With no cell service and the loss of power, it’s a race for survival when members of the group start turning up dead. With a murderer among the group, it’s clear the only way to survive is to face the deathly cold and uncertain conditions of the grounds outside and get down to the main building. The only question is, how many will make it down alive?

REVIEW

Ruth Ware’s One by One was a good read. The character building was well written. You found out who all the players are, but also made it very easy to figure out the murderer early on. It’s not until around just before the halfway mark that the action gets started. It felt like it dragged at some parts and could have been wrapped up earlier. Overall it was a good read. 4 stars for One by One
