จากประสบการณ์การวาดรูปของตัวเอง การฝึกฝน 3 เทคนิคนี้ช่วยให้เส้นสเกตที่วาดออกมามีความเป็นมืออาชีพมากขึ้นทันตาเห็น อันดับแรก เรื่องน้ำหนักเส้นสำคัญมาก ผมมักจะเริ่มต้นด้วยการใช้แรงมือเบาๆ แล้วเพิ่มน้ำหนักตรงจุดที่ต้องการเน้น เช่น ขอบหน้า หรือตา ทำให้เส้นดูมีมิติและนุ่มนวลกว่าการใช้เส้นน้ำหนักเท่ากันทั่วทั้งเส้น ต่อมาคือการวาดเส้นยาวและมั่นใจแทนการขีดเป็นเส้นสั้น ๆ ผมมักจะซูมออกจากภาพเล็กน้อยเพื่อมองภาพรวมก่อนลากเส้นยาวทีเดียว วิธีนี้ช่วยคุมทิศทางและความต่อเนื่องของเส้นให้ดูสะอาดกว่าการลากหลายเส้นสั้น สุดท้าย การเลือก Brush ที่เหมาะกับสไตล์ก็ช่วยมากครับ บางครั้งผมอยากได้ลุคเส้นขอบฟุ้งเล็กน้อย จึงใช้ brush ที่ขอบไม่คม ส่วนถ้าอยากได้งานเส้นคม เนี้ยบ ก็เลือก brush แบบ solid และอย่าลืมปรับค่าความนิ่ง (Stabilization) เพื่อช่วยให้เส้นเรียบเนียนมากขึ้น ทั้งนี้ ผมแนะนำให้ลองนำ 3 เทคนิคนี้ไปปรับใช้ดู และฝึกบ่อยๆ เพื่อให้มือของเราชินกับการควบคุมน้ำหนักและทิศทางเส้นจนวาดได้อย่างมั่นใจและสะอาด สุดท้ายอย่าลืมว่าเทคนิคเหล่านี้ช่วยเสริมให้สเกตซ์ดูดีขึ้น แต่ความรู้สึกและสไตล์ส่วนตัวก็เป็นสิ่งสำคัญไม่แพ้กันครับ นอกจากนี้ ถ้าใช้โปรแกรมวาดรูปบน iPad หรืออื่นๆ อย่าลืมลองตั้งค่า Stabilization และหา brush ที่เหมาะสมกับงานของเราด้วยนะครับ รับรองว่าผลงานจะออกมาน่าพอใจขึ้นแน่นอนครับ!
