People say I’m overly positive but they don’t see the battles I’ve had to smile through. I choose to see the good in everything because I’ve lived through pain that tried to break me.

Losing my mom shifted everything. It taught me that life is too short to sit in bitterness.

So no, I’m not ignoring the hard stuff. I’m just choosing to heal forward, to protect my peace, and to keep reaching for light even when it’s dim.

... Read moreLife often presents us with unexpected hardships that test our resilience and spirit. The quote, "NOTHING IS TRULY A LOSS TO ME ANYMORE IT'S EITHER REDIRECTION OR PROTECTION," beautifully echoes a powerful mindset shift that many find essential for emotional healing. When faced with loss or adversity, perceiving challenges as forms of redirection or protection allows us to reframe situations positively and reduce feelings of defeat or bitterness. Choosing to 'heal forward' means embracing the process of recovery while continuing to move toward a better emotional state without being stuck in past pain. This approach encourages active self-compassion and mindfulness, helping to safeguard mental peace while navigating grief or trauma. It’s important to acknowledge your emotions honestly yet gently, giving yourself permission to feel sadness, anger, or confusion but also continuously striving toward acceptance and hope. In real-life scenarios, healing is not linear. Some days will feel brighter; others might feel dimmer. The commitment to "keep reaching for light even when it’s dim" reflects an ongoing effort to find joy or meaning despite difficulties. Community support, journaling, or engaging in meaningful activities can amplify this process, providing a sense of connection and purpose that buffers against isolation. Ultimately, the choice to see the good amidst hardship is a form of protection for our inner peace. It creates mental space to grow, learn, and evolve beyond the pain. By recognizing losses as potential opportunities for growth or new paths, individuals can transform grief into strength, ensuring that their spirit remains unbroken as they navigate the complexities of healing.

Temporary pain/ permanent after a heartbreak is normal. But it hurts when the person didn’t understand how to deal with you. It’s sad how small misunderstanding can ruin your relationship. It’s even sadder however when they don’t tell you the truth from the beginning. If you feel like someone isn’t
