The warmth helps soothe my body while the quiet around me calms my busy mind. I make it a point to avoid screens and distractions during this time and just focus on my breathing, allowing myself a moment to simply be present. Journaling has also become an essential part of my mental reset routine. Writing down what’s on my mind helps declutter my thoughts and makes the overwhelming feelings more manageable. It’s amazing how a few minutes of putting worries or to-dos on paper can provide clarity and reduce anxiety. I’ve noticed that when I prioritize these small, mindful moments, I can better handle the chaos of mom life without feeling burnt out. Even taking a few deep breaths or stepping outside for a brief quiet walk can make a difference. Remember, self-care isn’t selfish—it's a vital practice that renews your energy and mental well-being.
