... Read moreIn today’s fast-paced world, mindful spending has become more crucial than ever. From my experience, it’s not just about the price tag but understanding what a purchase really brings to your life, both financially and emotionally. Sometimes, we buy things on impulse or because of trends, like those tempting #Lemon8MadeMeBuyIt moments. However, taking a step back to reflect—asking yourself "Is this worth my time and money?"—can help avoid regret. It’s about prioritizing what aligns with your values and goals, whether it’s saving for future freedom, enjoying hobbies, or reducing stress. I often remind myself with a simple mantra found in the images: “Too lazy to explain myself, just judge me.” This resonates with how sometimes the choices that make the most sense to us aren’t always understood by others, and that’s okay. The key is to respect your own journey in managing finances and free time wisely. Sharing this perspective encourages a non-judgmental approach to spending. Each person’s circumstances differ, and mindful spending is about creating balance rather than perfection. Keeping this mindset helps me enjoy what I buy without guilt, freeing up energy to focus on what truly matters in life.

Realistic investments for your 30s ✨🥹
Alright peopleeeee we are heading into the mid-30s soon. There’s so much noise about aging, and I know people who will never reveal their age but there is so much freedom in just embracing it. Also, can we talk about how the 30s are so much better than the 20s? No complaints here. My husband

Is this my mid life crisis?
I realised my so-called “mid-life crisis” didn’t appear out of nowhere. It accumulated quietly at work. On paper, I was meeting KPIs. Deliverables were done. Targets were met. Yet subjective expectations were NOT fulfilled. I was constantly being redirected to handle labour-intensive,

Most people don’t want luxury. But yet so difficul
Many people reach out to me saying they want to build extra income. Not because they are chasing luxury. Not because they want a drastic life change. Most of the time, they simply want a buffer. A buffer so they don’t have to depend on a single job. A buffer for unexpected situations. A

What I spend in a week as an unemployed 34YO
Hey SGFC Fam! Happy Monday y’all! One question I get asked a lot is: “Do you still track your expenses?” I do, but loosely. What that means is I know roughly where my money goes, but if I can’t account for a couple of dollars, I don’t sweat it. I typically give myself an “allowance” of $1,

What’s ONE thing you’ll never stop spending on?
For me, I spend $836/month on food, just for myself. Sounds extravagant right? But here's what I've learned about money that many don’t talk about: Good budgeting isn't about spending less. It's about spending right. Think about it: 🚗 Some people grab a cab every day, becaus

💸 BEING A HOT GIRL IS NOT CHEAP
If there’s one thing that consistently makes me internally roll my eyes, it’s the quiet, or not-so-quiet entitlement some guys have about dating a "hot girl." I mean, I get why they want someone hot, all of us do. Attractiveness is a huge form of social currency, and physical attraction

money things no one taught us (but we all need)
i notice these money traps so often in us 20-somethings not because we’re “bad with money” but because nobody teaches us how to plan for real life these small tweaks helped me feel clearer, less guilty, and more in-control if you’re figuring out life too… which one did you relate to most?
