If you go around the island on foot, it takes about 2 hours even while walking. If you use a bicycle, you can go around the island in about 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Walk: Take a leisurely stroll around sightseeing spots such as Octopus motif manholes and Anraku-ji Temple while enjoying the scenery.
Bicycle rental, electric kickboard: You can cycle on the outer peripheral road of the island while feeling the sea breeze. In the case of a bicycle, it is said that you can go around in about 30 minutes to 1 hour per lap.
日間賀島の食べ歩き、実際に回ってみると「西港周辺に人気店がギュッとまとまっていて、短時間でも満足度高い」と感じました。私が行った日は日帰りで時間が限られていたので、“並びやすい時間帯”と“食べる順番”を意識したらかなりスムーズでした。 まず西港に着いたら、海沿いの風景を見ながら写真タイム。タコのモニュメント周辺は風が気持ちいい反面、とんび注意の貼り紙があるくらいなので、テイクアウトしたら「手に持ったまま歩き食べ」より、ベンチでサッと食べ切るのが安心でした（特にクレープや串物）。 食べ歩きの順番は、私は“しょっぱい→甘い→しょっぱい→甘い”がちょうどよかったです。たとえば「島バル daitome」でタコ串やタコとしらすのアヒージョ系を入れてから、「島しらす屋・丸豊cafe」でしらすパフェ/島しらすソフトへ。しらす×ソフトって最初は不思議だったんですが、塩気がアクセントになって意外とアリでした。暑い日は、ふわふわ系のかき氷（抹茶やしらす系）も“休憩兼クールダウン”になって助かります。 「多幸まんじゅう」は、買うなら焼きたて狙いがおすすめ。温かい生地でほっとする味で、食べ歩きの締めにもぴったりでした。たまにタコじゃない形が混ざっているのも、ちょっとした当たりみたいで楽しいです。 ドリンク休憩を入れるなら、「かいゆう堂」みたいにタピオカやフルーツスカッシュ系があるお店が便利でした。台湾レモン＆ナタデココみたいなさっぱり系は、タコ唐揚げのあとでも口がリセットされて飲みやすかったです。 あと、日間賀島は“島一周もセットで楽しむ”と満足度が上がりました。徒歩だと道草しながら約2時間、自転車や電動キックボードなら30分〜1時間が目安。食べ歩きの合間に、どこでもドアやハイジのブランコ、海に面した桟橋の風景を挟むと、胃も気分もいい感じにリフレッシュできます。 最後に小ワザですが、人気店は営業時間が短めだったり変動があるので、到着したら先に「今日やってるか」「ラストオーダー何時か」を確認してから動くと失敗しにくいです。日間賀島グルメは“タコ串・タコ唐揚げ・しらすパフェ・多幸まんじゅう”の4本柱で間違いないので、日帰りでもぜひ欲張って楽しんでみてください。
